It looks great, I love the use of different coloured bottles to give a pattern, I didn’t get round to that on my greenhouse as i got carried away with getting it up! I hope you get lots of interest on the 12th. If you want to hear how soneone elses plastic bottlegreenhouse is doing you can follow mine at http://www.squidoo.com/plasticbottlegreenhouse

Hi, your greenhouse looks great, our point about them is they cost nothing at all to build, instructions are free on line and materials are easy to source for free.
Comment by growingsouthwark November 19, 2012 @ 2:44 pmWe added the pattern after it was built, when some people came up with the idea, so they deconstructed one side and got on with it.
There is now an idea that plants could be grown inside the bottle wall—–interesting concept will have to see how it goes.
Where on Earth did you get all of those bottles? My partner saw something similar to this and wanted to copy it but I’ve had a hard time finding enough bottles to do it… Seems a little silly to buy stuff just to recycle!

We asked a primary school to collect and got a few hundred from them. I than asked our recycling team who said they had none. I complained to a local councillor and the MD of the firm and then the local manager called me and explained they crush them all at 3pm so if we went down before then we could help ourselves and collect the rest from them.
So persevere with your local recycling firm and good luck. Let me know if you need plans and I can email them to you
